Catching the NBA TV Live Stream with DIRECTV NOW
There’s an online streaming service that has been providing major NBA sports fans will access to all of the favorite games throughout the entire season. This service is called DIRECTV NOW (what is DirecTV Now). Not only does it cater to NBA fans by offering the NBA TV network, it gives fans of ALL sports a golden ticket to live streams of their favorite teams. Sports channels such as FS1, ESPN, MLB TV, ESPN2, FS2, and numerous others are all available with the click of a button.
To sweeten the deal further, there’s a ton of very popular lifestyle, entertainment, and even kid channels available for viewing when there’s no game on that you’d like to watch. Using the Sling TV Service to Watch NBA TV Online
Hands down, one of the best and simplest ways of watching NBA TV online is with a popular service known as Sling TV. More and more people are finding extreme happiness with the use of the affordable service. Not only does the price make it so great, the ability to use it from anywhere with an internet connection further adds to its appeal. We simply HAD to share this one!
For those of you who haven’t heard about Sling TV before today, Sling TV is service that provides its users with online streaming. That means that unlike satellite and cable TV, shows and programs only require the internet to watch. The Sling TV streaming service is available for just $20 a month. One of the great features about this service is there are no contracts required.
Depending on which package you choose (there are many), you’ll have access to at least 25 of the most popular cable networks around. Again, no matter where you are, all of the channels can be viewed LIVE! It’s also compatible with basically all devices capable of streaming.
Remember, there are a variety of packages for subscribers to choose between. In order to help figure out which one might be the best for you, read through our in-depth Sling TV review for more details. As a sports fan, the major thing to remember regardless of what package you choose, is to add the “Sports Extra” option. This will only cost an additional $10 and provides channels such NBA TV, NHL Network, NFL Redzone, Golf Channel, and dozens of others.
For a low $30 per month, you can get the Sling Orange package with the additional Sports Extra add-on and have access to over 40 major channels. Keep in mind that since the Sling TV service requires no contracts or long term commitments, you can cancel the service any time like completely penalty free! They also offer some great bonuses for new members who decide to take advantage of the service such as:
Prepaying for 3 months of service gets you a FREE Roku streaming device! Prepaying for 3 months of service gets you a discounted Apple TV FREE – take advantage of the 7-day free trial!
Watching the NBA TV Live Stream on PlayStation Vue
Another possible service you can take advantage of to watch live streams of NBA TV is PlayStation Vue. Similar to the other previous services that we mentioned, Playstation Vue is also an online streaming service. It’s comes with a variety of plans for subscribers to choose from. The lowest starts at $29.99 a month.
If you’re looking to get access to NBA TV though, you’ll be paying $34.99 a month for the cheapest package that includes that channel. Good thing is, this service also offers a no-contract requirement like Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW. So, if you decide it’s not worth the money, simply cancel.
Now, even though you can use PLaystation Vue to stream the NBA TV network, we personally don’t think it should be your go-to option, especially when the Sling TV service is available. Vue has a few things about its service that we don’t think warrants the monthly cost. For starters, it’s not really compatible with many streaming devices. That means if you don’t have one that the service works with, you pretty much limiting yourself on convenience.
Our biggest issue however, is the fact that Playstation Vue has a restriction on its streaming service that only allows you to use it inside of your home. No streaming from anywhere! It’s still a fairly new service at the moment, so many of these issues may change in the future. For now, there are way better options for that type of money, Sling TV being one of them.
So, now that we’ve shown you how you can watch NBA TV online without the use of cable TV and satellite dishes, what’s next? We know! How about we show you how to watch TV online as well? Not a problem. Just check out the guide we have for that. You’ll love it.
